The RÅC International Summer School takes place at the Bergström Hotel in Lüneburg, Germany.

Rooms are available for check-in from 4pm, but please make sure you arrive no later than 7pm. The Summer School ends on Sunday, August 27 after breakfast. Please vacate your rooms before 12am.
From Hamburg main station to Lüneburg train station, there are regular direct trains (ICE; Metronom; 30min - 50 min). You find typically up to 2-3 connections within 1 hours.
Lüneburg train station is about 600 m away from the Bergström and is within easy walking distance. On leaving the station, head north on Bahnhofstraße. Turn left onto Bleckeder Landstraße, which becomes Lünertorstraße. Follow the Lünertorstraße for about 275 m and then turn left onto Am Werder. After 75 m you will find the Bergström Hotel Lüneburg on your right.
The journey takes about 6 minutes by taxi.
How to get there by train
All public transport both in Lüneburg and Hamburg is serviced by the HVV (https://www.hvv.de/en). Please refer to their website or mobile app for connection details.
Lüneburg is about 60 km outside of Hamburg and can be easily reached via train from Hamburg Central Station in less than an hour. We recommend to take the RE3, which runs hourly and can be used with a regular HVV ticket. Please refer the Deutsche Bahn for details on the connection (https://www.bahn.com/en).
If you arrived at Hamburg Airport (HAM), you need to take the S1 to Hamburg Central Station first. This journey takes no more than 30 minutes. For more information visit https://www.hvv.de/en.
How to get there by car
Coming Hamburg via the A39, take Exit 6, Lüneburg-Nord. Turn right onto Hamburger Straße and continue along this road for about 2.7 km as far as Vor dem Bardowicker Tore. Turn left onto Reichenbachstraße and continue along this road for about 300 m. Turn right onto Kaufhausstraße. After 300 m you will see the Bergström Hotel Lüneburg on your right.
Coming from Berlin / north-east via the Bundesstrasse 209 / Artlenburger Landstraße, follow Bockelmannstraße for about 2 km towards the town centre (Innenstadt). At the end of the road continue along Schifferwall for 150 m then turn right onto Lünertorstraße. After 20 m turn left onto Am Werder, after 75 m you will find the Bergström Hotel Lüneburg on your right.
Coming from Hanover / south-west via the Bundesstrasse 209, take the exit Lüneburg-Häcklingen/Stadtmitte. Continue towards Neu-Häcklingen and at the roundabout take the second exit. Follow this road for about 3 km onto Uelzener Straße and Universitätsallee. Continue along Willy-Brandt-Straße for about 2 km. Continue on Schießgrabenstraße for 400 m and then turn left onto Lünertorstraße. After 20 m turn left onto Am Werder, after 75 m you will find the Bergström Hotel Lüneburg on your right.
