Travel Information

RÅC-2022 will take place in the Varbergs Kusthotell (Nils Kreugers väg 5, 432 53 Varberg, Sweden).

From Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup), you can take a direct train to Varberg (about a 2h50 ride). The timetable and purchase of the train ticket can be made via the SJ website (https://www.sj.se)  or at ticket machines at Copenhagen Airport.

From Gothenburg Airport (Landvetter), you should first take a direct bus (Flygbussarna- https://www.flygbussarna.se/en/) to  Gothenburg Central Station (Nils Ericson Terminalen (Göteborg C)). You can buy a ticket from the Flygbussarna website, or onsite at Landvetter airport from ticket machines, or directly on the bus. From Gothenburg Central Station, you can take a train to Varberg (about 45 mins). The timetable and purchase of the train ticket can be done via the SJ website (https://www.sj.se)  or at ticket machines at Gothenburg central station.

From Varberg train station, you can take bus number 11  and stop at the station Varberg Kurorten Apelviken (about 15 mins ride), and the Varbergs Kusthotell is about 200 m from the bus station. The timetable and purchase of the bus ticket can be done via the SJ website (https://www.sj.se)  or directly on the bus. You can also walk from Varberg train station to the Kusthotell (about 30 mins- see google maps). 

Please be aware that Sweden is a cash-free country, meaning that all payment for transportation is done by (credit) card.

Poster Sessions

All participants are requested to bring their poster to Varberg. The poster size should be A1 portrait (width: 59.4cm and height: 84.1cm).

Announcements

For the RÅC International Summer School 2022, applications from participants of German and Swedish institutions and participants from institutions of a number of further countries will be welcome.

The application period ends on May 31, 2022 (Germany), and it was extended for Sweden to June 20,  2022.
